Wipe away any marks left by the suction pads as thieves will look out for these · Don't leave your equipment in the glove compartment – thieves usually check here first · Buy a sat nav system with anti-theft security features · Use a security marker to mark your equipment with your postcode and house number · Make a note of the make, model and serial number of the equipment and keep this information somewhere safe and not in the car.
